Author Shannon Arnstein begins with a general introduction to panels, patchwork, and the necessary tools you’ll need to get started, then reviews the different techniques you can use to accomplish your task, including squaring blocks, half-square triangles, paper piecing, mitering borders, creating wall hanging sleeves, and more. She also includes the math she uses for her fabric size so you can adjust your measurements appropriately, provides guidance on selecting fabrics that pair perfectly with your panel (including pre-cut fabrics), and offers tips for selecting complementary quilting designs.
