Welcome to Celebration 2026! Join us for three days of quilting education, inspiration, and community as we honor Judy Martin — master pattern designer, beloved teacher, and 2026 inductee into The Quilters Hall of Fame.

Whether you're joining us for a single workshop or the full weekend, Celebration 2026 offers something for every quilter — from hands-on classes and fascinating lectures to stunning quilt shows, a vendor mall, and the unforgettable Luncheon and Induction Ceremony.


How to Register

Taking classes or attending the luncheon?

  1. Browse the schedule below, click on an event title to see details and add your events to your cart — a $15 three-day registration fee will be automatically added, covering admission to all quilt shows and the vendor mall throughout the entire event
  2. Complete your purchase — you'll receive a confirmation email with your personal schedule

Please register one person per transaction. If you are registering on behalf of a friend, please complete your transaction first, then start a new transaction for your friend.


Walk-In Admission

Not taking classes? You're still welcome at Celebration 2026!

  • Quilt Shows & Vendor Mall — $8 payable at the door
  • Lectures — $35 per lecture, available at the door based on availability

Pre-registration is required for all workshops and the Luncheon and Induction Ceremony.

Lecture seating is limited — pre-registration is strongly recommended.

Ample parking is available at First United Methodist Church. The Marion Public Library is within walking distance. Handicapped parking and accessibility are available at all four venues.

Judy Martin — 2026 Inductee Quilt Show Marion Public Library, Forrest Room. Celebrate the extraordinary work of our 2026 inductee with a stunning exhibition of Judy Martin quilts.

What Does Freedom Mean to Me? Marion Public Library, Carnegie Room. A showcase of small quilts created in response to this thought-provoking challenge.

Marie Webster Quilt Guild Quilt Show First United Methodist Church, Sanctuary. Admire the work of local guild members displayed among the church pews in a uniquely beautiful setting.

Vendor Mall First United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall. Browse an exciting selection of quilting goods, tools, fabrics, and more from vendors who share your passion for the craft. Bring your scissors — a scissor sharpening service will be available!

1:00pm - 4:00pm Rope Baskets workshop with Tracey Barber @ MPL Maker's Space Learn to make simple rope baskets using cotton clothesline and your sewing machine, with creative techniques to make each basket uniquely yours.
